Osama`s house for sale - privacy Full guaranteed In Islamabad: Al Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden's killing in a dramatic US raid has raised questions about his presence in Pakistan but it has also shown the country's humour mill at its creative best.

"Pak army must've accidentally misplaced OBL in Abbottabad. Like when I put my glasses on top of my head and look all over the house for them," read a post by Pakistani writer Moni Mohsin on Twitter.

The world's most wanted man met his end in a compound located about 800 yards from the Pakistan Military Academy near the historic garrison city of Abbottabad.

"Mansion in Abbottabad available phor rent. Safe place, stones throw away phrom Pakistan Military Academy.Privacy guaranteed," read another tweet by majorlyprofound, an anonymous Pakistani user of Twitter known for his acerbic wit and irreverent takes on serious issues.

Some have joked about renaming the Abbottabad as "Osamabad" and others have gone soft on the al-Qaeda chief, though with pun.

"Innocent old man, brown skin I might add, brutally murdered by imperial storm troopers who descended from the sky," read one tweet.

Bin Laden was bestowed the title of "Sheikh" and is being referred to as a "shaheed" or martyr in jest, after a popular TV talk show host used the Urdu term to refer to him.

One mock obit read, "Bin Laden: Mar-10-57 ? May-1-11: Provider of F16, enabler of debt rescheduling, facilitator of coalishun support fund. May he rest in peace."

Most of the humour was directed at the Pakistan government and the powerful army.

"Osama was clever. Building a house with 13-foot walls topped with barbed wire and multiple security gates right under the nose of the Army!!" and "(former President Pervez) Musharraf was right, Osama was not living in a cave".

Another tweet by majorlyprofound went: "(President Asif Ali) Zardari still consulting with prime minister to decide whether to take credit or cash phor the operashun."

"Okay. Enough of the 'luxury compound' opening line. Or show me an indoor pool, sauna, casino, HD home theatre, helipad," went another post.

Meanwhile, there are many Pakistanis who are not convinced that bin Laden is dead.

"Have the Americans really killed OBL or have they taken the world for a ride? Why do people still show uncritical acceptance of whatever comes from the American government, which is notorious for its brazen lies, depth of hypocrisy and Hitler-ite blood thirst," wrote Sakib Ahmad on his blog.

"...But this whole thing about immediate disposal at sea, no pictures, no witnesses and just a statement 'believe us we matched the DNA'...well all of that stinks.

"Even I wonder if it is real. And I really wish it is," read a comment on a Pakistani e-zine.
